It is best to start refilling water early since this can otherwise take up substantial amounts fo time.

  • Fill storage containers with the hose attached to the faucett and make sure the reader has started showing the amount of water transferred. Always make sure to secure the hose to the storage tank unsing a clamp and never leave the hose unattended, as this can result in flooding!
  • When finished with filling, calculate and add the amount of salt and stress coat that needs to be added according to the amount of water transferred. Make sure to add it to the correct storage tank!
  • If necessary, perform water changes according to the Water Changes SOP and note this in the husbandry sheets.

2. ๐Ÿฅซ Feeders

Feeders should:

  • Be well filled with a mix of flakes and pellets (3:2).
  • Show the current time and have a symbol for active feeding times.
  • Be fixed and well attached to the housing tanks.

3. ๐ŸŸ Fish

Check all tanks that contain fish:

  • Dead or diseased fish should be removed and the number recorded in the corresponding column of the husbandry sheets!
  • Remove excess food on tank lid, edge, floor, etc.
